REED CANYON

Reed Canyon, a natural area, a couple of miles from my home, is a place I return to often, a place I have come to know and love through time, ever changing light, and the seasons. Photographing along this mile long loop, I am receptive to the spirit of the canyon, surrounded by its rich tapestry, swept into its intricate world, at times enfolded in the veiled mystery and entangled in the dense structure. Within the chaos of this complex layered world, there is a natural order, a dynamic that reveals itself over and over again.
